Welcome to our new website

This is the first major update of our website since 2000, at which time we had just finished our work as engineering surveyors to the management contractor on the Millennium Dome. We played a vital role in helping to ensure the project opened for the immovable millennium deadline.

A great deal has changed in the last 10 years and the new website is an important part of that change, opening the link to our Client Portal for the first time. Clients will be able to gain direct access to the MHLS database to track a project’s progress and download data and drawings directly from us.

Other important changes include:

  • Our field teams now use laptop computers and mobile broadband to link to our web-based database from their work site location, anywhere in the UK or Ireland, keeping the business in tune with the rapid response times demanded in today’s work environment.
  • We now have an in-house underground services location department and have developed this specialised service to include ground penetrating radar equipment and adding the capability for CCTV survey to give a “one stop shop” for all your needs.
  • To complement our services team we have a dedicated team producing Desktop Asset Record Searches, collecting services data from utility providers and delivering a collated record with the option of a unified services CAD plan. This team works within our Ordnance Survey Mapping and Data Centre, delivering digital OS data at competitive prices.
  • The latest addition to our equipment is a Leica C10 Laser Scanner, launching us into 21st century surveying with in-house capability to produce high definition data of complex sites and buildings. We are currently setting off on a tour of CPD talks on this subject, so if this is of interest to your business, give us a call. More news about this elsewhere.

One further change that will become noticeable to all our clients is the introduction of Steve Murray as our Operations Manager. Steve has moved from his role as purely CAD Manager and is now responsible for the day to day organisation of both field operations and the CAD office. He now provides a single point of contact for all operational and delivery enquiries.
