Malcolm Hughes sponsored junior football team are undefeated!

Malcolm Hughes is excited to be the official sponsor of our local U13 junior football team, who have had a fantastic start to the season! The team remains undefeated, with only one 4-4 draw among their wins, and they’re currently leading Division 4.

Their strong performance has taken them to the semi-finals of the President’s Cup, a tournament for teams in Divisions 4 and 5, where they’ll face Cuddington & Sandiway Clarets away on 26th January. While the team is optimistic, the road hasn’t been without challenges, recently a key midfielder suffered a broken arm in a biking accident. His coach is hopeful he’ll return by mid-January, joining the team as they continue their competitive season. With 3 of the team breaking their arms last season, the message is – look after yourself lads! And keep up that good work.
